EMcontrl is a small button menu that sets at the top of your screen and allows you to configure up to 28 buttons to call applications that you use more often then others. I got tired of opening all the windows and click like a mad man when ever I needed something. That is why I wrote this little menu program.
EMcontrl lets you enter the name of your company or your name BBS name or what ever you want displayed on the main screen. You also have the date and time in a large display right there all the time.
Just follow the instruction on the screen and it will be very easy.
UNZIP EMCON.ZIP INTO A TEMP DIR AND RUN SETUP
Here are some things you should know:
1. When ever you add a button name or path you must press the button that is next to the text box.
2. To remove a button you can drag the mouse pointer over the text, highlight and press delete, you also have to press the button just like when you add.
3. You can cause an application to come up as an ICON by selection the check box by each number.
4. You can press the Directories and Files button to search and input the path and executable.
EMcontrl will create a file called EMCON.INI in your windows directory.
It writes to the EMCON.INI in uppercase if you have an application that requires some switches as part of the command line you may have to go into EMCON.INI and put them in lower case.
